In multiple places, setsockopt is used when getsockopt shall be used, and vice-versa. Additionally, pointer isn't checked correctly in two places, this commit fixes those as well. Per man(7), most socket-level options utilize an int argument for optval. Use those for ttl. Fixed issues in os_renameat * Zephyr platform fixes for WASI sockets Addressed numerous of build warnings on Zephyr * Updated `os_writev` to use `fwrite` for STDOUT/STDERR * Temporarily reverted change to `writev` to work around an issue. * Fixes: fstat, fstatat, and unlink * Add initial support for directories in os_openat. Partial implementation — just avoids a hard fault. * Directory support WIP. readdir works but I think we have a memory leak somewhere * Fix: always use standard stream fds. Fix unlinkat and renameat. fd 0, 1, and 2 will always be supplied for standard streams. Unlinkat and renameat work exclusively based on supplied paths. * Fix: use macro for free() * Added a temporary workaround for issue identified in PR#4377 * Fixed reference to file descriptor and cleaned up dead/commented code. Note that some comments haven't been addressed and will be fixed in the further patches. YAMAMOTO Takashi	2c4a660c4c	posix os_socket_addr_resolve: relax compatibility check (#4469) ... some getaddrinfo implementations sometimes return results with ai_protocol=0. cf. https://github.com/apache/nuttx/issues/16693 standard-wise, i couldn't find anything about ai_protocol in susv4-2018 except the following text: > The fields ai_family, ai_socktype, and ai_protocol shall be usable > as the arguments to the socket() function to create a socket suitable > for use with the returned address. because ai_protocol is usually merely used to feed socket() and socket() usually accepts 0, it's probably standard-wise ok for getaddrinfo to return ai_protocol=0. the major implementations of getaddrinfo (eg. kame) seem to return specific values like ai_protocol=IPPROTO_TCP though. anyway, for the purpose of this function, there is little point to be strict on the host getaddrinfo behavior. this commit just relaxes the check to be friendly to those getaddrinfo implementations.	2025-07-14 13:06:40 +08:00

James Ring	8ac06490db	Set thread information earlier in exec_env creation (#3967) ... For boundary checking, WAMR calls `pthread_attr_np`, which is unfortunately quite slow on Linux when not called on the main thread (see https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasm-micro-runtime/issues/3966 for discussion). This change moves the cost of stack bounds checking earlier in the wasm_exec_env creation process. The idea is that it's perhaps better to pay the price when creating the execution environment rather than in the first function call. The original code is left in place inside `call_wasm_with_hw_bound_check` in case the `wasm_exec_env` is created via `wasm_runtime_spawn_exec_env`.	2024-12-24 07:25:52 +08:00
Xavier Del Campo	9598611e35	CMakeLists.txt: Do not require C++ (#3956) ... By default, the project() CMake command defaults to C and C++. [1] Therefore, CMake might perform tests for both C and C++ compilers as part of the configuration phase. However, this has the consequence of the configuration phase to fail if the system does not have a C++ toolchain installed, even if C++ is not really used by the top-level project under the default settings. Some configurations might still require a C++ toolchain, so enable_language is selectively called under such circumstances.
