The collected personal information includes the following:

The regulations regarding access to personal information are as follows: Catswords Colosseum administrators cannot access personal information without permission. However, access is allowed in the following cases:

  • Cooperation request from Korean law enforcement agencies
  • Response to a factual inquiry from Korean courts
  • Issuance of a search and seizure warrant by Korean courts
  • Cooperation requests from institutions with legal authority such as dispute resolution, adjudication, orders, investigations, prosecutions, trials, etc., according to Korean and international laws. However, access may be denied based on internal review or expert advice.
  • Cooperation requests from relevant agencies and organizations related to urgent matters recognized by social norms (emergency medical care, missing persons, violent crimes, natural disasters, personnel accidents, distress, rescue, relief, evacuation, etc.). However, access may be denied based on internal review or expert advice.
  • Receipt of a content certification. However, access may be denied based on internal review or expert advice.
  • Processing the prize delivery process for users who have won events
  • Resolution of issues arising from Mastodon (ActivityPub), ejabberd (XMPP) updates
  • Recovery operations due to the loss of equipment or data necessary for operation
  • Implementation of user protection measures
  • Receipt of personal information access claims through the Personal Information Portal operated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of South Korea
  • Confirmation of content for users claiming the 'Right To Be Forgotten' (RTBF). However, requests may be denied if no valid legal basis is provided, the individual can delete the content themselves, the authorship cannot be verified, or if access blocking or deletion is prohibited by law, regulation, order, etc., or if it pertains to public interest content or content without personal information.
  • Upon receiving a request for cooperation related to CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material). However, legal precedence is given to the Republic of Korea's 'Act on the Protection of Children and Youth Against Sex Offenses' (enacted on January 13, 2022). Even if the requester's nationality is not Korean, the administrator may view personal information and report to and transfer the reviewed materials to administrative or investigative agencies in the Republic of Korea.

Personal information may be retained for up to 5 years according to related laws:

  2. Records related to cancellation of contracts or subscriptions, etc.: 5 years (Enforcement Decree Of The Act On The Consumer Protection In Electronic Commerce)
  3. Records related to payment for and supply of goods, etc.: 5 years (Enforcement Decree Of The Act On The Consumer Protection In Electronic Commerce)
  4. Records related to resolution of consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years (Enforcement Decree Of The Act On The Consumer Protection In Electronic Commerce)
  5. Records related of identity verification: 6 months (Act On Promotion Of Information And Communications Network Utilization And Information Protection)

Catswords Colosseum does not sell data to third parties. Transfer of personal information to a third party is only allowed in the following cases:

  • Processing the prize delivery process for users who have won events
  • During the user protection process when the user's age cannot be estimated, verification procedures are carried out
  • Temporary holding for the transfer of cash or other content

For the smooth operation of this instance, collected personal information may be transferred abroad. For more details, please refer to this link.

This instance utilizes tracking prevention or similar technologies to technically support users attempting to explore information. However, using tracking prevention may cause issues with cookies or similar technologies, so it does not guarantee normal use of this instance.

The protection measures for physical assets (servers, PCs, etc.) and intangible assets in electronic form (software, databases, files, etc.) for operating this instance are as follows:

  • Installation and operation of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) (24 hours, 1 unit)
  • Installation of access control devices (number key door locks)
  • Installation and periodic updating of antivirus software
  • Regular backup procedures
  • Application of file encryption software for files containing personal information
  • Periodic information security education for the Personal Information Protection Manager
